Antenna sites rollout at 1&1 is still slow

1&1 is behind in antenna sites buildout which could result in fines and increased roaming costs:

At the end of Q2 2025, it had 1,200 active antenna sites versus 6,000 to 6,500 needed at the end of 2025.
1&1 has a regulatory obligation to reach 1,000 active antenna sites at the end of 2022 and 6,000 to 6,500 at the end of 2025, failure to do so could attract a penalty of EUR 50,000 per missed site.
Failure to meet their targets could trigger increased national roaming costs.
